Міжнародна стратегія Збігнєва Бжезінського в історичних дослідженнях

Вступ. У галузі історичних досліджень істотно зріс інтерес до вивчення інтелектуальних біографій видатних міжнародних стратегів, котрим був і З. Бжезінський. Історіографічна оцінка досягнень їхніх авторів є актуальним науковим завданням.
Мета пропонованого дослідження – з'ясувати сучасний стан осмислення міжнародно-стратегічної спадщини Бжезінського. Завданнями роботи є: встановлення обсягу й охоплення бібліографії публікацій з досліджуваної проблематики; аналіз тематичної спрямованості, джерельної бази та методологічних позицій окремих дослідників; висунення пропозицій щодо подальшого наукового пошуку в ділянці історичного знання, історіографія якої становить предмет пропонованої розвідки.
Методи. Застосовано методи об'єктивного аналізу, систематизації, аналізу епістеміологічних підходів історика, контент-аналізу, історіографічного аналізу, історіографічного синтезу, компаративно-історичний метод.
Результати. Наукові публікації, присвячені дослідженню життя, діяльності та міжнародно-стратегічної спадщини Збіґнєва Бжезінського, можна розділити на три основні групи. Першу формують монографії, дисертації та статті авторства американських, польських, французького і британського дослідників, присвячені життю, діяльності та поглядам Бжезінського на проблеми світового розвитку й американської міжнародної політики. Другу – дослідницький доробок українських істориків. Третю – узагальнювальні праці, присвячені історії зовнішньої політики США періоду адміністрації президента Дж. Картера, у яких містяться оцінки діяльності Бжезінського. Серед аналізованих праць насамперед варто наголосити на важливості внеску у вивчення теми, який роблять життєписи Бжезінського авторства Ж. Ваіса, П. Воана, А. Любовскі, Е. Люса і колективна монографія за редакції Ч. Ґаті. Єдиною вагомою публікацією, що фокусується на інтелектуальній біографії Бжезінського як міжнародного стратега, натепер залишається монографія Т. Грищенка.
Висновки. Незважаючи на вагомі досягнення в дослідженні зазначеної проблеми, її нові прочитання, зокрема на ґрунті очікуваних відкриттів у джерельній базі, залишаються на порядку денному. Міжнародно-стратегічна спадщина Бжезінського викликає глибокий інтерес у світлі новітніх світополітичних тенденцій. Міжнародно-стратегічна персоналістика загалом є перспективним напрямком докладання зусиль вітчизняних істориків.
